I find the tongs used for open pastries terrible. They are simply punched out of thick sheet metal and have quite sharp edges at the openings. I think these tongs are useful for hygienic reasons, but couldn't they be replaced with more ergonomic ones that don't cut into your fingers so much? Maybe the chains that are constantly getting tangled could be replaced at the same time.
