Photo ban

Hello,

According to 20 Minuten, a Migros customer wanted to take photos of yogurts to let his wife choose the yogurts. Employees intervened and he had to delete the photos. According to a Migros statement, the employees acted correctly. At the same time, however, it says that only photos of employees and customers are prohibited. How does that fit together?

As someone who regularly shops for relatives who are no longer able to do so themselves, I would have liked to have photographed products or a shelf for selection purposes myself. But that's too unsafe for me at Migros. I think it's a shame that Migros is the only store that doesn't understand this and has a general photo ban. Judging by the comments on 20 Minuten, many other customers are also disappointed.

And if the counter-argument is that you can also find the products to show online, I would ask you to search for Nasi Goreng in the online store, for example. It took me years to find out that you have to search for "Asian rice dish" and not for the product name on the packet. Many other products online also have strange names that are impossible to guess. The retinol serum from Daytox (513374800000), for example, is called "Serum Beauty in balance" online. Only Migros knows why, because it's not written anywhere on the packaging. Other products can only be found with spelling mistakes or if you translate individual words into other languages, etc.
