Since I've been doing less shopping by car, I use a shopping trolley and walk home with the shopping. It's an elegant vehicle similar to a wheeled suitcase, but with large, comfortable wheels. (Yes, you know it from the retired shoppers... I'm one of them. I'm one of them myself.) My problem: handling the shopping trolley and a shopping cart or shopping basket at the same time is quite unfamiliar. In practice, I steer the shopping cart at the front and pull my shopping trolley at the back. It feels like a small train. I also don't have a free hand. Are there any tips on how to improve handling? Is there any way of attaching the trolley to the shopping cart? I wouldn't like to leave the shopping trolley outside the store because of the risk of it being stolen. A rucksack isn't big enough for me either. I would be grateful for any good ideas.
