Lately—maybe for the past 2 or 3 months—we’ve been selected for a spot check in 8 out of 10 of our weekly shopping trips. Of course, we’ve always scanned everything properly, but it’s really striking that it’s become quite rare for us to simply pay and leave the store. It can’t be that there were no checks at all for years and now they’re happening all the time, can it?
Has anyone had a similar experience?

As soon as the scanner cancels an item—whether because it doesn't fit or because you found a cheaper one—you're sent to the checkout. Unfortunately, I had to learn that the hard way. I don't mind, though, because the staff at MMM Buchs AG are always nice people who actually want to do something instead of just standing around.
