I wonder whether all the cheap meat and poultry from abroad that has been flooding Migros' fresh food counters for months appeals to Swiss consumers. It certainly doesn't appeal to me. I'm also seeing more and more orange discount stickers on them to get rid of the goods as cheaply as possible before they have to be thrown away in the store. Coop offers better promotions on meat and poultry from Switzerland. Best regards.
Supply and demand, the same with the cheap eggs / M-Budget line. Migros will remove certain products from its range if demand is too low. For consistent animal welfare, however, I find any animal products in M-Budget lines & Co. simply unacceptable.

So there's something for everyone. If someone wants to pay more for Swiss goods, it's okay, just as it's okay if they can buy it from Migros...

Unfortunately, the problem with cheap meat such as MBudget, which also applies to all dairy products, is that it has a direct impact on nature and biodiversity. Animal and plant species are disappearing. More is now being done, but for many farmers it is alibi. If the customer is not prepared to pay a little more, then the farmer has to make do with quantity/mass. Anyone can imagine what that means.
