I'm really surprised that other retailers have pulled out of this. From my perspective, this is something a lot of consumers need.
I’ve been to Neo in Winterthur before, and the selection is great. It’s just the essentials you need when you couldn’t shop during regular hours or when you have unexpected guests.

I just came from a Coop store that's open on Sundays. It was packed because nothing else in the area is open.
So there’s a need.
Whether it has to be 24/7 doesn’t matter to me personally… but I’m in favor of extending the opening hours.
For example, a 3mmm store in Zurich is open on Sundays because of all the tourists. Whether a store in the remote Valais region should be open on Sundays is a question that demand should determine.
