Why have the 10% days for senior citizens been reduced from 6 to 3 days? Until now, I was always able to do my weekly shopping with a 10% discount on Mondays, as there was no crowding in the stores, so I had a better overview of the shelves. I hope there is enough response to my request so that it will be extended again.
Hello rengifo, Migros Aare's popular Senior Days have been held on a specific day each month since their introduction and until the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the coronavirus measures, it was decided in 2020 that the one-off discount of 10 percent could be redeemed within a week in order to avoid excessive frequency on a single day.
Now that all measures have been lifted, Migros Aare has decided to return to the "normal situation". However, as the offer of being able to use the discount flexibly has proved very popular with senior citizens, the redemption option has been extended from one day to three days. Kind regards, Susi
