Why do Migros supermarkets keep selling crushed cans of food?
Who is liable if the can is infected and customers suffer health problems as a result?

Unfortunately, I keep seeing crushed cans (including tetra packs) being offered. Perhaps to save money so that they don't have to be disposed of. Can you issue an instruction to your supermarkets to please refrain from doing this?

I have already observed this in several places. I don't want to "badmouth" "one" store. Especially as I simply don't buy these items. It's just a bit tedious if you have to check everything in advance.
as long as the actual product doesn't suffer, i'm happy to buy such tins/tetrapacks etc.

if the dents are not directly near the opening, nothing usually happens. i've dropped something a few times and it was still great, even if i didn't need it straight away (even with dented items at the opening). 😊 of course it also depends on how strong they are. of course there is always a residual risk, but i think it's still better to continue selling the products (you could possibly consider giving the items away at a reduced price) to avoid food waste. and if something is still no longer edible, migros will certainly be accommodating with a refund. 🙂 but fortunately it's up to you which product you take out of the rack. 😊👍🏼
