I notice that my Migros store no longer sells real tea, but only the unfortunately widespread bagged tea. As a passionate tea drinker, I find this extremely unfortunate. Has anyone other than me noticed this and has an opinion on it? To avoid unnecessary discussions: Real tea is a product made from the leaves and leaf buds of the tea plant. First-class tea is traditionally always prepared open, products in bags are rejected by tea connoisseurs because of their own taste.
Based on your forum post, I had a look at the tea range onmigros.ch - only that which is available in the stores - and actually only found one real tea: Green tea from Tea Time. https://www.migros.ch/en/product/107003200000 I'm curious to see what the M-Infoline will say.

Yes, I've also noticed that there isn't a large selection of open teas in Migros. That's why I've been buying my teas in tea stores or drugstores/pharmacies for years. They have super-fine blends and also good advice. It doesn't always have to be Migros.

You could ask yourself whether a forum post on a topic is not a sign of demand. But without knowing the figures, any assessment of demand is just speculation. Nevertheless, when I see what is lying on the shelf in bags, I wonder whether the sales figures for open green tea were/would not be higher than for one or other herbal blend.

I wasn't referring to your post 😉 If the people responsible for designing the range were to take a closer look at Migipedia, the range would be different. Unfortunately, this remains wishful thinking. Just take a look at the many reviews and requests, which are very rarely addressed.
