Why are the new Total washing powders all so extremely perfumed - I loved the "normal, old" Total for decades (1 for everything - not 1000 different variants!!!) - but above all the neutral smell - I would be so happy if that was available again, because I am still looking for a washing powder that is not so artificially perfumed.
I switched to the washing powder from Landi. It washes clean (even with less powder than recommended) and is cheap. A wash cycle only costs about 10 centimes. The fragrance is very subtle, and I don't like it if it's too strongly scented.

We learned that the Total powder is now produced in a more concentrated form (previous dosage 125 ml, now 100 ml). The fragrance and cleaning performance are the same after the wash cycle if the correct dosage is used. The new powder therefore smells more intense from the packaging. The more concentrated the dosage, the more precisely the dosage recommendation must be adhered to in order to avoid overdosing.
In general, cleaning agents and detergents are becoming increasingly concentrated. A more concentrated dosage benefits the environment, as it also reduces the amount of goods that have to be transported by truck on the roads. We therefore marked new packaging with a "more sustainable dosage" sticker at the start of the adjustment.

This is also a big concern for me, I have to order my detergent on the Internet or buy it abroad because I can't stand perfumed cleaning and washing products, in Germany I get several variants without fragrances cheap and good, and I'm not alone with this intolerance.

Thanks for the answer - I realize that it is more concentrated and should be dosed less (the pack is also much smaller) but I still find the smell very different from before, very unpleasant, I have already had to take off freshly washed bed linen and wash it again without detergent, then hang it up in the sun to get rid of the penetrating perfume smell. Unfortunately, almost all (even non-Migros) detergents smell kind of horrible to me.
My mother once gave me M-Budget washing powder, which smells a bit like the former Total, but this M-Budget powder isn't available in stores and I don't need enough for online shopping to make it worth ordering.

Discreetly perfumed is also perfumed, it is not about the skin but affects the respiratory tract and triggers hay fever-like reactions.
The washing strips from Washo, which are also available in Migros, can be ordered directly on the Internet WITHOUT fragrance. I don't know why the fragrance-free ones are not also on offer in the stores, but together with a washing power booster from the same company, even without fragrance, you can wash everything well. I always buy them when they are on sale in multiple packs so they are cheaper ;)
