Almost 25 years ago, my wife and I bought a mixture of frozen corn and peas from Migros. This product was specially designed for children and each pack contained a Nemo figure. However, we bought this mixture mainly because of the corn, as corn was otherwise only available in cans and the taste between canned corn and the frozen product was simply not comparable. Suddenly the product disappeared until about 4 years ago when frozen organic corn was offered in bags. We were very happy about this, as this corn was indispensable both in salads and as our daughter's favorite vegetable. Migros also had a head start, as no other retailer offered a similar product. Unfortunately, the joy was short-lived, as the product was removed from the range a few months ago. I wonder why? What makes peas better than corn? Is there anyone else who misses this product as much as we do?
