In any case, be careful: When disposing of products with a risk of spontaneous combustion (e.g. cloths soaked in certain liquids for treating wooden surfaces), it is not sufficient to wet them with water. Instead, the object must be enclosed in a container such as an empty jam jar (not plastic), in which fire cannot spread due to a lack of sufficient oxygen. Or simply let it burn out in a metal container in the open air.

The article in question contains approx. 45% alcohol, the evaporation of which produces flammable gases. However, these will not burn without a source of ignition.
