Why is Emmentaler - Swiss hard cheese, full-fat, made from raw milk - mild - no longer available in slices, or not in stores?

Hello huckberry, thank you for your question. We will be happy to look into it. Could you please tell us where you bought your cheese? Kind regards, Matteo

Dear Matteo Bought online (there's still the entry...). But I would like to buy it in the Aare and Eastern Switzerland Cooperative :-). Merci!

Hi huckberry, thanks for the feedback. We used to have this product in our stationary range. Unfortunately, the item was not so popular and we had to record high spoilage figures. As a result, there are no plans to reintroduce it at the moment. Kind regards, Matteo

High spoilage rates for hard cheese? I could understand it with Camembert or Brie or the like, but with hard cheese it's a bit hard to imagine (if you store it refrigerated). At least I've never had a hard cheese spoil...
