The price😳 that is paid? Wow. Once again grateful to live in the country. But what I wanted to ask is why does it say ornamental pumpkin?😅 @Migros
Ornamental pumpkins are the smaller varieties of those vegetables. The majority of them are inedible, with Hokkaido being one of the few edible ornamental pumpkins.

Sone Hafechääs... Oranger Knirps or Hokkaido is an edible pumpkin and certainly not an ornamental pumpkin 🤦🏼♀️ The linked article is also a decorative article. Pay attention to the link to Migros Do-It...
Aha!!! Oke I googled now and Hokkaido is definitely NOT an ornamental pumpkin the Latin name is completely different which distinguishes ornamental pumpkin from edible pumpkin. Uff thank you Missy for correcting me back puhhh😆 TBH @Migros a bit dangerous if you tell people that ornamental pumpkins are edible, Migros I would go over it again even IF there were a variety that you can eat: People only half read and then start eating ornamental pumpkins😆
Gladly 👍🏻 There are varieties that can cross with an edible pumpkin in the garden via natural, random paths. You can try a small piece raw when harvesting. If it tastes bitter, spit it out again straight away. If not, then you can eat it at your own risk lol. I still wouldn't do it. But please read up on the topic first.
