Replacement of Budget, Bon Chef, and other products that were previously available only at Migros and are being phased out in favor of significantly more expensive and often lower-quality brand-name products
Remplacement des produits Budget, Bon chef, et autres que l'on troiuvait uniquement chez Migros et qui disparaissent auprofit de produits de marque nettement plus chers et souvent moins bons
For years, I’ve been doing all my shopping exclusively on Migros Online. Lately, more and more high-quality Migros products have been disappearing, replaced by very expensive “brand-name” products that are often of lower quality. You can no longer find Bon Chef bouillon cubes—they’ve been replaced by Knorr products—and the budget cappuccino (500 gr. for about Fr. 4.00) has been replaced by Nestlé packets at 4.80 for 12 small sachets..., Fidelio meat at sky-high prices, etc. What is Migros playing at? If I shop at Migros, it’s not to find the same products you can find in any store. It’s no surprise that people are turning to Aldi or Lidl (too bad they don’t offer delivery—otherwise I’d do the same).
