Migros regularly lures its loyal customers with fruit promotions, which, however, turn out to be misleading. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time a promotional offer of 31% off has applied to products, a large portion of which are simply inedible.

This recently happened with Extra-brand kiwis, which literally tasted of nothing—just water. And today, the same thing again with Extra avocados: impossible to eat and just as impossible to let ripen at home, they’re so hard. The color in the photos speaks for itself—these avocados are harder than a rock.

These repeated incidents raise serious questions about management at Migros, both in purchasing and sales. When such promotions are prominently displayed right at the store entrance, one is fully justified in wondering whether Migros employees still have a handle on their job as retailers.
