However, the global rise in raw material prices is currently presenting us with a challenge. Manufacturing and packaging costs have also become more expensive. This also applies to electricity and energy costs, which has an impact on transportation. We are therefore currently forced to pass on some of the additional costs to our customers. Of course, we are continuing to monitor the situation on the market closely. As soon as the situation eases, we will reduce prices at the first opportunity. As far as the meat promotions are concerned, you raise a point that we are also very concerned about. It cannot be denied that one- and two-person households represent a growing proportion of the Swiss population. We try to take this into account as much as possible by already offering smaller portions of numerous items. It should be noted that the packaging and production costs are often not much lower than for standard portions. The small portions are therefore more expensive in comparison, which is why many consumers continue to prefer the usual pack sizes. Because we only ever stock small packs as an additional offer and space on our shelves is limited, the demand for these items must be high enough, which is not always the case. I have put your wish to benefit from offers in smaller quantities to the relevant specialist department. They will be happy to look into the matter as part of the next campaign. It would be a good start if you didn't always tie your promotions to the condition "from 2 pieces"... Coop also jumped on this nonsensical bandwagon a long time ago. Either you really let your customers benefit (you still make enough sales) or simply stop the promotions altogether.
