Hello, POTZ scouring powder has disappeared from the range. Why has it changed name, range, type of store? Will I be able to find another scouring powder (but NOT liquid/spray/cream/foam/wipes etc!) at Migros? Have a nice day!

Hello Mimichou, thank you for your message and the photo you attached. It's true that we have withdrawn the Potz scouring powder from the range because demand was too low. I understand that it is disappointing that a frequently used product is no longer available for sale. The relevant specialist department has been informed of your message. Are you already familiar with our Potz detergent cream, which is also abrasive? Perhaps this product is just as suitable for you? We hope you will find a suitable alternative in our range and look forward to your next visit - see you soon. Best regards, Mia

Oh, now I understand why I couldn't find any in your stores. At the competition (coop) I can't find a similar product. I'll try the detergent cream.

Hello Coba65, For scouring powders, which -my faith- are surely obsolete and demanded by a fairly high age bracket (this is my case, for my 86 year old mother), "young people" cannot know, nor imagine the price (low!!, naturally low!!!) of these items! And detergent cream, it works of course, but it's not identical ... and sometimes, it's better the powder! si,si!
yes, eternal Migros products disappear, but sometimes they're no longer available in your store or another one, and you always have to check on the internet to see if they really no longer exist (for example, in another canton or region of Switzerland: it makes a souvenir purchase for a trip/vacation).
And if you live near the European border, take a trip to France, and you'll find the powder (I think Ajax, or whatever) in supermarkets like Intermarché, and elsewhere. Euro-compatible price helvetosympa €1.09 /750g: it's worth stocking up.

Scouring powder no longer exists in France either.

Hello, I think there must be some, in France, depending on where ... for mine, it had to be a large (small or medium) surface between Annemasse and StGeoire (Greater Geneva). And you it was what area? The next time I go there, I buy you a load? Just know how to get them delivered ... 🤔, or shipped. 🤔, or ship. Or I'll give you the store name, location, brand and price! 👍

👏👍👏 et à quel prix ? bas prix?
Low-cost equivalents can be found in supermarkets in France, and in some Swiss stores. It's a pity that Migros has abandoned this product, which has been available for decades and is very economical and advantageous... for the consumer.

The irony is that while Migros no longer offers Potz scouring powder, it does offer Ajax in its branches in France, a country where supermarkets still face a certain amount of competition...
