Thank you for your reply. The bottle was the same color as the one in your picture. It was just narrower. And the gel was not specifically for the drain, but simply for cleaning stubborn limescale. Otherwise it looked very similar to the one in your picture. Unfortunately I no longer have a bottle, otherwise I could have sent you a photo.

Obviously the purchase was too long ago, yes. That may well be the case. I will try the Potz drain cleaner to remove the stubborn limescale. I just appreciated the fact that the gel wasn't as liquid as the other descaling agents and there was no foam.
