Everyone is talking about PFAS at the moment and I have tried to find out whether there are any harmful ingredients in Migros baking paper, but have not found any clear results.
Does it contain substances that are hazardous to health? Where can I find the exact ingredients of non-food items? Are there alternatives?
Hello Tamara1234, thank you for your question. Our own brands are made from components of paper (also known as cellulose fibers) and finely coated silicone. The products from M-Budget and Migros Kitchen & Co (formerly Tangan) are therefore produced without PFAS. You cannot see the exact composition, but the product description online states the following: "Material: cellulose". You can use this information as a guide. I hope this helps you. Unfortunately, the answer is not very satisfactory, possibly even wrong! If "PFAS-free" is not explicitly stated, the online list of ingredients is of little value because: "There is no obligation to declare, which is why consumers cannot know where PFAS are everywhere"
