Pan handle dissolves

I recently wanted to order a pan handle from the customer service department to replace the defective one. The coating on the existing handle is peeling off, making it sticky.
The problem with the frying pans is known. I could not order a replacement without a purchase receipt. Migros knows the suppliers of your products. What is the problem with ordering a replacement part (for a fee, mind you) on behalf of the customer?
Should I buy my pans from a specialist store in future?
