Why do you have to print on the paper bags? You could sell the bags for 0.20 centimes instead of 0.40 centimes and leave them unprinted.
This saves money, resources, is better for the environment and benefits the customer.

Quite simply: because you are advertising for Migros. And you're also paying for it.
No retailer has an interest in customers NOT being able to see that they have shopped with them. So you offer customers shopping bags with your own name or logo on them. And every person who walks around with one of these bags becomes a (voluntary!) advertising medium.
Given how often Migros has been bombarding you with advertising for some time now - no matter where you are or what you do, Migros advertising is there - it is hardly conceivable that Migros, of all companies, will stop printing carrier bags in future.
i always use my reusable shopping bags that can be folded into a mini format. and only the ones that used to be available at manor food because of the great format. so i always advertise for manor, no matter where i shop. it makes sense to me from the retailer's point of view to print them.
I don't care about the price of the paper carrier bags. If I were to take home all the new bags that are constantly lying around unused, I would almost have to grow.
