Hello PrincessErika, no citric or ascorbic acid is used to preserve potatoes before production. Citric acid may, however, sometimes be present in the spices added to the chips. Farm Chips Nature, for example, contain only potatoes, sunflower oil and salt. Sincerely, Mia
