I was able to buy a small package of 4 mochis once in Migros Welle 7. There was a mochi with cherry blossom flavor (sakura), a white ball with coconut flavor, then there was also matcha (green tea) and classic with chocolate flavor. I would have bought something so incredibly tasty forever. After that, I never found the product again, not in any Migros, not even in Biel. I am aware that the consistency of rice flour takes some getting used to for some people. And now there are glacé mochis, but the non-glacé version is just very gummy because of the glutinous rice flour, maybe people found it icky, who knows. Nevertheless, I am extremely convinced that in Biel this simple product will also bring a lot of joy to the Asian sections, even if it is more popular with younger people. I hope it will come back one day.

Hello Lemona966, thank you very much for your message. How nice that the combination tasted delicious to you! Given your description, I understand why you don't want to miss out on the pleasure. The missing product is a "limited edition" that we offered on a trial basis between November and April. This explains why you can't find the mix at the moment. Whether a return is planned is currently up in the air. The evaluations have not yet been completed. Your wish to be able to buy the Mochis again has of course been placed with the responsible specialist department. In the meantime, I recommend these fine delicacies. A little tip: Opposite Welle 7, at the PostParc, there is a Japanese ramen restaurant, Namamen. You can buy frozen mochi there. Among other things, they have the cherry blossom variety, which might be something for you :)
