Hello
The M-Budget plain cream cheese has a one-star rating for animal welfare. Why is that? This is disastrously low for a cheese and a reason to stop buying this product.
Is there an explanation for this, or is this product simply that bad? Thank you, Migros

Hello sram00, thank you very much for your interest in our M-Check. The M-Budget Plain Cream Cheese has received an M-Check animal welfare rating of 2*.
The rating is already correctly displayed online. Since packaging is only updated at irregular intervals, we are not always able to immediately update the on-pack rating for environmental reasons. Best regards, Mara

Dear Mara
Thank you very much for your reply. This is still kind of alarming. Is there a specific reason for this? Otherwise, I won’t be buying this product anymore. If you already know that a product is so bad for the animals, it shouldn’t be in your product line at all. Aren’t there any suppliers with higher standards?
Best regards
