Why has the M Budget ice cream in the 2L tub been changed, where has the real vanilla gone? unfortunately the taste is artificial and without "vanilla dots" Meega pity, before it was a very good and creamy vanilla ice cream, please produce the "old" ice cream again!
Just out of interest: What are "vanilla dots"?
These are parts of the ground vanilla pod or, more rarely, its seeds. You can see it in the small black dots in vanilla ice cream. It doesn't add much to the taste, but the appearance gives the customer the feeling that it is a high-quality product 😅

Presumably, a product from the vanilla pod was previously used for production, which is also mandatory for the designation "vanilla ice cream". The term "vanilla-flavored ice cream" (the use of ingredients from the real vanilla pod is not mandatory) rather suggests that the flavor is produced by much cheaper flavorings (e.g. vanillin) that do not come from the vanilla pod. These flavorings can be produced synthetically or biotechnologically. So if you value real vanilla flavor, it's better to spend a few centimes more and opt for "vanilla ice cream". The M-Budget vanilla cornets list "natural bourbon vanilla flavoring" as an ingredient - presumably exactly what is now missing from the bucket ice cream. Whether this will remain the case in the long term is another question.
