Because the origin of the cucumbers varies, the jar says "India". I see. That's logical.
If I had gone shopping in the store, I would probably have read the label, which is what I do with new products. Then I would have read India and I certainly wouldn't have bought the cucumbers, but as I am 100% reliant on buying online, I didn't see the information as it wasn't written anywhere.

It seems to me that Migros hasn't been keeping careful records of the products on migros.ch for a while anyway. It used to be much more detailed where something came from. Today, many products simply say: Look at the product in the store if you want to know. If you (possibly deliberately?) don't enter the data into the system, the result is something like yours, unfortunately... As a customer, I don't think that's okay. If the products are already listed online, I want to be able to get an idea of them.

Gherkins are actually quite expensive to produce, especially as there are not many producers. 1.50 for such a large jar, produced in Switzerland, is simply difficult. What do I expect? Actually only that I get the same information online that I get in the store. Namely "Made in Switzerland with cucumbers from India". This also works for other products. Like frozen chicken breasts, for example. It says "Made in Switzerland with chicken meat from Brazil". Fun fact: Brazil-Switzerland as the crow flies: approx. 9000 km! And another thing. In the past, the TK chicken breasts from Brazil actually had a Swiss cross on them (online). I complained about this at the time and it was actually changed. That shows me that it is definitely worth intervening.
