I don't know how long the product has been discontinued, but is there any hope of seeing it again someday—or something similar?

Hello Yuudachi, thank you very much for your message. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the M-Budget Energy gum 😊! We stopped carrying this product in 2021 due to declining demand. We do not currently plan to bring it back into our product range. Although there is no direct alternative, the sugar-free varieties from M-Budget are also delicious. We hope you enjoy trying them! Best regards, Lea

"We're glad that you have fond memories of M-Budget Energy gum."
I wonder when the day will come when they say, "We're glad you have fond memories of Migros"?

🤦♂️ Do you get the feeling that other supermarkets and discount stores aren't getting rid of anything? Check out a bunch of videos on TikTok—stuff is constantly being cleared out in the DMs there…stores can't just stock new items without getting rid of the old ones.

Funny—searching on TikTok for problems that definitely don’t affect me?
At Migros, I actually haven’t found any new products in years that have made a lasting place in my household, but I’ve lost countless ones that I loved.
Now that you’ve pointed it out, it really is striking. At the same time, I haven’t heard the phrase “we no longer carry it” (at Migros, “delisted”) from the competition in years either. Except at Aldi—but that’s a discount store, and that’s just how it works (DM does the same, by the way, so it’s a lousy comparison).

The competition does the same thing; you can just turn a blind eye to it.
Coop also adds products to its lineup and removes others. Just as I do on Migipedia, I do the same on Coop.ch...
DM isn’t a discount store—it’s a drugstore...
The reason other chains can evolve the way they do is that they don’t face an outcry over every single product; instead, they can adjust their product range and don’t always get a negative reaction.
For example, Migros cornflakes get a new package, and Migros customers complain about why the product now comes in a cardboard box. But all the competitors use cardboard boxes.
But sure, for you guys, changes at Migros are terrible. I, who follow supermarket chains across Europe, am a thorn in your side. The fact that I know how the other chains operate and how Migros operates—and can tell you that Migros does a lot of things right, though admittedly some things not so much—is the problem.
