I just found out today that the Happiness brand ladyfingers are no longer available—what a shame. I have the recipe for the Philadelphia cake with ladyfingers; it's my son's birthday cake. What should I use as an alternative now?

Hello Strand14, thank you very much for your inquiry. We actually stopped carrying the Petit Bonheur spoon cookies last year. So that you can continue to enjoy your homemade desserts, we recommend the M-Classic spoon cookies or the organic spoon cookies. We hope you have fun baking and wish you a wonderful birthday party! Best regards, Tabea

But you already know the difference between regular ladyfingers and the ones you listed, right?! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
And why do you need two varieties of the regular ones? You could have cut that down to just one variety.

Hello, Tabea
Thank you for your feedback.
That’s not the same thing. It’s not possible to make the base or the crust of the cake with the sponge cake varieties you listed for me. It’s a shame that such a good product is being removed from the lineup while there are several varieties of other sponge cakes available.
Best regards

Hi Strand14, thank you very much for your kind feedback. Oh dear, what a shame that the alternatives you listed aren’t really suitable for the Philadelphia cake. I can understand that it’s disappointing when a tried-and-true dessert no longer turns out the way it used to. ☹ Unfortunately, demand for the Petit Bonheur spoon cookies steadily declined, which led us to discontinue them. Your request to be able to purchase the product from us again has been forwarded to the appropriate department. I hope this approach meets your needs, even though I’m sure you’ll whip up something delicious for your son’s birthday! Best regards, Tabea
