The height does not refer to the distance between the plants, but to how much space must be available at the top, as the plant will grow 15-30 cm high.

Lamb's lettuce can grow up to 20 cm high (there are different varieties). And this is simply to create awareness that there is enough space above the plant for a good climate, light conditions, etc.
They wanted to make it "double-safe" but have apparently made it more complicated 😅
