Hey Migros
What happened to all the Le Chef Cooking spices? I can't find any more for weeks...e.g. poultry, vegetables, pizza and pasta?

Hello DonVitto, thank you for your request. I am happy to help clarify things. There has been a change to the spices. You can now find the LeChef variants in the M-Classic line, although the recipes have remained the same. The "Pizza & Pasta" and "Vegetable" seasonings, for example, look like this:
- M-Classic Pizza Seasoning
- M-Classic Vegetables
As part of the change, we also decided to discontinue those products that are no longer in demand. This has happened with LeChef poultry. We do not offer a 1:1 alternative. Perhaps you would also like the M-Classic poultry seasoning mix? Best regards, Tabea
I have also been looking for the meat and fish spices for months. All the alternatives are not an option. The composition is just right at Le Cooking. There are more and more products that I miss at Migros, ergo, less shopping. There are also more and more products missing online, which are always marked "not available". Especially the lactose-free Mich 1.5%. At the same time, people were complaining about US tariffs and that farmers don't know what to do with their milk. There's something wrong up front!

Hi Billymaus, thank you very much for your inquiry. We are delighted that we were able to inspire you with the Le Chef spices! We are all the more sorry that you miss your favorite spices in our stores ☹. We have indeed made a change to our spices. The No Name products and individual LeChef items now belong to the "M-Classic" label. The "Le Chef" brand meat and fish seasoning has been transferred to the M-Classic line.

- M-Classic seasoning mix fish, article number 1063.075
By entering your zip code under the respective link, you can check availability in your area.
You also mention that the lactose-free milk 1.5 % is not available in our stores. We assume that you are referring to this item. Can you please let us know in which stores you cannot find lactose-free milk? This will give us the opportunity to carry out further checks. We look forward to your feedback! Best regards, Lea

Dear Lea
Thank you for your reply. As already mentioned, the new spices are not an alternative. The Le Chef meat and fish only contained 9 and 11 ingredients respectively, the new ones 2-3x more. Why is that? This is precisely the problem, because I can't tolerate this Chrüsimüsi!
The lactose-free milk was missing in Migros Meilen, then I tried to order it online, but it was missing there too. A week later, the same thing happened again. But it's now back again. I would still like to know what the reason was.
Kind regards

Hello Billymaus, thank you very much for your feedback. We discussed this with the relevant specialist department. We found out that the M-Classic fish seasoning mix is a 1:1 transfer of the LeChef fish seasoning. The composition has not been changed.
However, the M-Classic meat seasoning mix is not the LeChef version. We apologize for this, as we previously passed on incorrect information. The LeChef meat seasoning was not transferred to the "M-Classic" brand, which is why the recipe is not the same as its predecessor.
Regarding the lactose-free milk: The interruption in supply was due to an overhaul of the production plant. We regret that you were unable to find the milk in the Migros store in Meilen or online during this time. The good news is that the product is available again. We are pleased that you have now found the milk again 😊.
We hope this information is helpful for you! Best regards, Lea

Hello
Unfortunately, the M-Classic meat seasoning, for example, contains monosodium glutamate. "Le Chef Cooking" didn't contain it.
Why does this additive have to be in everything? It’s a shame—I don’t want this flavor enhancer...
But I’ve found a fantastic alternative—completely free of monosodium glutamate.
Unfortunately, you have to order it directly from the company...but it’s definitely worth it. SwissAlpin Herbs meat seasoning—one of the best.
Best regards

Hello Lilly82. Monosodium glutamate enhances the natural flavor of foods and makes dishes taste richer, more rounded, and more aromatic. At the same time, it allows us to reduce the amount of salt by 30–40%. If you’re looking for a meat seasoning without flavor enhancers, we can recommend the following alternatives:
- Cape Herbs & Spice Texan Steakhouse Seasoning Mix: https://www.migros.ch/en/product/106234600000
- Just Spices Meat Allrounder: https://www.migros.ch/en/product/106200800000
