Wouldn't it be more sustainable to reduce the amount of grains around or leave them out altogether? 90% of the grains are already loose in the packaging at the store and I scatter the remaining 10% on the floor like Hansel & Gretel on the way home. There's hardly any left at home.
All the grains arrive at my house and are then poured onto the sandwich. There's nothing better than that! Nothing goes to waste.
It's fascinating what people come up with on the subject of "sustainability" 😅

We have looked at your feedback and can confirm that we are satisfied with the current sprinkling and quantity of grains on the Kornknacker bread IP-SUISSE. The quantity of grains was deliberately chosen to achieve the characteristic taste and desired quality of the bread. Of course, grains may come loose during transportation, which unfortunately cannot be completely avoided.
