Now I have to intervene. Please don't change the recipe, because then the cult cake won't be the same. And there's so little cherry in the cake anyway, it's just for flavor. I would say that you absorb more alcohol with a ripe banana than with a slice of Generoso😉. Unless perhaps you let your toddler eat the whole cake on their own. That certainly wouldn't be healthy. But probably because of the other ingredients and not because of the kirsch.
