Good afternoon everyone As far as I know, over 10 years ago there used to be "coffee cream" in small brown glass bottles. Does anyone know why these are no longer available anywhere? However, a lot of energy is required to produce and recycle glass - especially for melting it down. This energy in turn requires crude oil. In addition, glass cups, for example, are many times heavier than plastic cups. In addition to the higher material consumption, this also has ecological disadvantages during transport, as more fuel is used than for lightweight plastic bottles. From an ecological point of view, this means that due to the significantly lower material consumption, the environmental impact of plastic bottles is usually lower than that of glass bottles, especially when it comes to disposable packaging.
