Why is the Käsereiziger no longer available? Migros was the only store that still offered it and otherwise you can only get it occasionally in the mountains if you're lucky. It's a shame when you have 100 types of yoghurt on the shelves and a product that can't be replaced with another (and no, ricotta or quark or Schabziger are something completely different) is removed. I often bought the Ziger and miss this product accordingly.

What was it in Migros? Only in a big one I suppose or regional, also eastern Switzerland? I've been looking for Ziger in Migros for so long (as you say no Riccotta no Schabziger ect, but what's in the sweet Zigerkrapfen around Fasnacht) and now it's out although I haven't even seen it noo😫 Ziger would be SUPER HIGH PROTEIN!!! (I don't care about the label, but it seems to be a sales guarantor, I'm beating Migros with the sales argument😉) And AntiFooswaste because the whey is not thrown away from the cheese, but its protein is bound to fresh cheese. 100g Ziger have: 100 calories 5g fat 14g protein There are two varieties if you don't know it: -Magerziger is made from so-called skimmed whey and is a cream cheese of the lean or at most 1⁄4 fat level. Magerziger only contains around 80 to 100 kcal per 100 g. -Ziger is made from so-called fat syrup, i.e. from non-skimmed whey. Hello Bodenseeknusperli Yes, the Ziger was available for a few years in the larger Migros Aare branches. Last year there was a supply interruption in the summer, but then it came back, but since this year it is no longer available anywhere....
