Is the paper permanently gone? This household paper was discontinued a few years ago. However, it then came back onto the market due to high demand. What is the current situation? This product has kept me with Migros. Do I really have to switch now?
Hi Kalinka64, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has decided to stop producing recycled products. We therefore had to find a new supplier who can also supply us with recycled paper.

The new supplier cannot wrap the sheets as compactly because he does not have the appropriate production technology. The product is therefore not 1:1 comparable with its predecessor. Kind regards, Alex

Thank you for your reply. I have tried the replacement product. However, it is in no way the same as the previous product. The "old" paper was more tear-resistant (the new one with the half sheets in no way) and it also required much less storage space. In addition, a roll lasted incomparably longer because there wasn't so much air in it. The paper was an important reason for me to shop at Migros because I couldn't find paper like this anywhere else. Now, with a heavy heart, I will try my luck elsewhere because your alternative is definitely not one.

I feel exactly the same. The new paper is useless. Why on earth do they make 3-ply household paper when two layers would do?
