Hello LarsR, thank you very much for your contribution. Migros follows the principle of offering good quality products at reasonable prices. However, lactose-free or gluten-free products require more production steps and often additional protective measures to prevent contamination during production. These additional steps are the reason why products for allergy sufferers are somewhat more expensive. Nevertheless, I can well understand that in this day and age, when everything is becoming more expensive, you also want inexpensive products as an allergy sufferer. What are the lactose-free or gluten-free products that you need most? Best regards, Chloe
If only one family member is lactose intolerant, it might be worth buying lactase tablets for them. It's certainly cheaper than the expensive lactose-free products, and it's also worth researching lactase tablets online so that you don't have to buy the expensive ones from the pharmacy.
