It is much more practical and cheaper for a family to buy toilet paper in the 24 bags. But for a few weeks now, the selection has been getting smaller and smaller. I have also searched the supermarket without success. You always want the same toilet paper, especially if you are sensitive in that area. My local Migros supermarket has reduced the sales area to a third or a quarter and usually only has a small selection. What's going on? What do others think?
I switched to toilet paper from Landi or LIDL a long time ago. Both are Swiss recycled products, which is very important to me. And both are soft and tip-top (and even cheaper😊).
Landi offers bulk packs very cheaply: ) Own brand for years without it simply disappearing from the shelves
Well, if your Migros store is now much smaller, it will probably also have much less space for toilet paper? Isn't the assumption that the need for Easter goods is probably more likely to be on the floor space because of Easter?
Recently there were probably 6-8 promotions in my smaller Migros store.
I usually prefer soft from Migros. Or when I'm in Germany from DM...
I've been very happy with Soft for years. I don't like Landi WC paper... Lidl is also OK

They have plenty of space for kitchen paper campaigns. Man-high and at least four times the area. The space for toilet paper was reduced once at the beginning of the year and now again. But toilet paper is always needed, even despite the many chocolate bunnies.

This week, the store had to take one pallet of Sellout toilet paper out of stock because they needed space for the Easter liquidation. However, there are still two pallets of toilet paper in the area. The store can't put any more pallets there for space reasons. In addition, the same toilet paper is not always in action. This means that the desired brand may not be available or may no longer be available. If you want to be sure that a specific promotional item is available, I recommend going to a larger store. Oh, I can counter that. It was like this even before Easter. Here's another picture from today. I can only see one pallet. But I can also go shopping somewhere else: Coop, Aldi, Lidl, Landi. I want to help Migros improve. At Otto, regular areas are reduced for promotions, but not at Migros. There are other promotional areas in the store.
