Vegetables and fruit with a "passport"

Gemüse und Obst mit "Pass"

I saw the movie SEED: The Untold Story a few days ago. The seeds of seed plants are the source of almost all life, but this valuable resource is under threat. Companies such as Syngenta and Bayer-Monsanto dominate the seed market with genetically modified plants, leading to the extinction of many varieties - around 90 percent of all seed varieties have already disappeared. Farmers, scientists, lawyers and indigenous seed owners are fighting for the future of varietal diversity. Release date: August 22, 2016 (Anchorage) Series: Independent Lens Directors: Jon Betz, Taggart Siegel Source Google My question now is, is there a way to label the vegetables and fruit (whether fresh, frozen or processed) so that the end consumer can clearly recognize whether one of the large corporations is behind it? In other words, whether what is on the shelves has been produced from seeds from Monsanto, Syngenta-Bayer or whether herbicides and fungicides are used by these companies. As we as end consumers have a duty, also for the next generations, I would be happy to receive ideas and answers!
