Good day, why don't you indicate on the cheeses whether it is made with animal rennet (it is extracted from calves stomach) or vegetable rennet? Thank you very much and have a nice day

Thank you very much, but why don't you indicate it on the package with a picture (as a crossed out animal) like it doesn't contain pork
Hi Jeanne77, thank you for your inquiry. Your observation is correct. The directions are not currently visible on the packages. For this reason, you can consult the list posted by Frederica. This absence is due to the fact that most cheeses have no ingredient list. In this regard, we have fantastic news for you: in the future, for variants that contain microbial rennet, we will affix a corresponding indication. This information will also be visible for variants found on our website. Adjusting to this new type of transparent declaration will take some time, however, particularly with regard to changes in packaging. Until then (and even after that) we recommend that you use the above-mentioned list. We hope that our efforts will go in the direction you wish. Best regards, Susi

Good day, as long as the logo is not available, at Migros could you not separate them with green shelves (green for the vegetable recall)
Hi, in relate until a few years ago Migros (2022) and Coop (2018) had a list of rennet-free cheeses available on their online site, if not in Italian at least in German. For some reason, I don't know if it is to make life more difficult for vegetarians who are aware of animal rennet. Or for religious people who do not consume bovine rennet. Or even because of pressure from industries that produce products with rennet. They have decided to stop making this list available! They have the pretext that they will add this information on their products in the future, despite the fact that it has already been a few years. I think making such a list available is too difficult for customers who have been buying products from their stores for decades! If you search for "Käse ohne tierisches Lab" you can perhaps find the PDF online but unfortunately it is no longer updated.

Hi G_M_, thank you for your message. We will be happy to verify your request with our responsible specialized center. Unfortunately, this list poses a great challenge for us to keep it updated. When checking the list, there are always discrepancies and unfortunately we cannot guarantee its correctness and completeness. We have decided to discontinue the list because the effort required is disproportionate. For customer inquiries, we always respond specifically to the product in question. Sincerely, Alex
