False promises and lack of goodwill at Micasa
Falsche Versprechen und fehlende Kulanz bei Micasa
I bought a cupboard from the "Modul" cupboard system (micasa.ch/en/cp/modul) from Micasa 5 years ago. I would now like to add an additional cupboard column to this cupboard. To my surprise, however, the cabinet handle ("aluminum bow handle") that I selected at the time is no longer available. In order to have uniform handles for the three future cupboard doors, I therefore also have to buy two pieces of an alternative handle model for the old cupboard section - which will cost me an extra 60 francs. What's more, I can throw away the two old handles - the opposite of the sustainability propagated by Migros and Micasa. I think that with a modular wardrobe system, you can expect the relevant components to still be available after five years - precisely because Micasa advertises that the system can be expanded to meet future needs. The fact that the small print states that prices and models are subject to change does not change this for me. At the very least, I would expect a certain amount of goodwill from Micasa in this specific case. However, the salesperson in the Bern-Wankdorffeldstrasse branch didn't seem to know the word. For me, Micasa's behavior is tantamount to a breach of good faith.
