Sali together. I am seeing more and more products with jackfruit and wonder how this can be a meat substitute. What experiences have you had? How does it taste? I look forward to hearing about your experiences!!!

It is a fruit from the tropics, where it is eaten when ripe. When unripe, it can be processed as a meat substitute - but then it no longer has any flavour. It gets its meat flavour from the additives used in industrial processing, as with other meat substitutes. In other words, just like from soya beans - although this grows here.
