To our disappointment, the eagerly awaited response failed to materialize. This is the reason why we decided to take this measure. We are constantly adapting our selection in order to best meet the preferences of our customers. I have no regrets about these strawberries. I was once curious and bought them and immediately regretted it... Pale, mushy, tasteless in far too sweet strawberry syrup. Disgusting...

Oh dear, either you were just unlucky or I've just been lucky so far, because I haven't had that experience. They were certainly quite sweet, which suited me well for my purposes (on fresh waffles or ice cream). They weren't mushy either. Maybe the product will get another chance?
