Hello Migros team, why is Coeur de Lion Le Grand Cru - French soft cream cheese made from pasteurized milk no longer available in all major Migros stores?

Hello Alex, thank you for your prompt feedback. We shop at Migros Zugerland. The Coeur de Lion Le Grand Crugab cheese was also on sale there, and suddenly it was taken out of the range. When I asked why the Coeur de Lion Le Grand Cru cheese was no longer available, I was told that they didn't know why this cheese was no longer on sale, there were plenty of other cheeses to buy in the store, I should try other types of cheese, maybe I would find something suitable among them in the store.
(AS IF I WERE LOOKING FOR A SWEATER :(:( )
I happened to be in Migros in Schlieren and in Altstetten and the cheese is still on sale there. But I can't drive all these kilometers to buy 2-3 cheeses.

Hello portafortuna, thank you for your feedback. As promised, we have followed up with the specialist department. It turned out that demand for the Coeur de Lion Le Grand Cru was too low. This prompted the Lucerne Cooperative to discontinue your favorite. As you rightly point out, the Zurich cooperative still offers the product. Your wish to be able to buy the specialty in your region again has been placed with the area managers. They are prepared to address the issue as part of the upcoming product range revision. If necessary, they will try again - even if we don't want to raise false hopes. Kind regards, Tabea
