The properties of baking paper are no longer the same since baking paper has a smooth, coated surface. The pizza no longer bakes crispy on the pizza stone on the grill.

Hello JoghurtSukkulente, thank you for your message about our baking paper. We would like to investigate your report. For the time being, please let us know the article number and the batch/lot number of the pack in question. The production number usually begins with the letter L or a mixture of letters and numbers. We will then be able to make further clarifications for you. We look forward to hearing from you! Kind regards, Lea

I have noticed that the paper is much smoother on both sides and the new packaging says up to max. 220 degrees. The old packaging (see attachment) does not say this and the paper is not as smooth and more paper-like... I have not had a problem with high temperatures before, but I do with the new one.

But do you realize that you are talking about two different products? Why are you buying the roller (No. 73) if you actually want the flat sheets (No. 31)?

I found no. 31 in my stash and compared the two packs. As there is a special offer this week, I wanted to buy this one, but recently it also has the indication of max. 220 degrees on it. I'm afraid that this one will be as smooth as the one on the roll, so I didn't buy it.

We also use the individual sheets (the folded ones) for rolls up to 250°C and apart from a few spots that turn a little brown, nothing has happened so far.
It browns over time because it naturally burns over a large area where there is nothing on it and it smells slightly burnt. That's it.

lightly moisten the baking paper (crumple it up and run it under the tap) and squeeze/shake it out a little.

Hello JoghurtSukkulente, thank you for your patience. We have not changed or modified the product for item N°31. We have added the information "up to max. 220 degrees" to the packaging because many customers have asked for it. However, the paper itself has the same properties as before. If you have special requirements, we also offer other baking papers with different properties - depending on what you need it for. Best regards, Mara
