Practically every time I order M-Budget avocados, they look like this. They were delivered on Tuesday, and today is Thursday. What happens to make them look so bad?

I don't usually buy avocados for environmental reasons, but since I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy, they're good for me and I can eat them well, so I made an exception. I bought organic ones, but they were all brown and black inside :( Now I'm going back to buying them at the market, where I know exactly where they come from.

In fact, I haven't had avocados on my menu for years, for the reasons you mentioned.
Now we've bought avocados again, partly to make our own vegetarian sushi. I've also bought organic ones, regular ones, and M-Budget ones. It's a lottery with these things🤣. Lately, they've been pretty bad.

Thanks, I've already reported the avocados to Migros online and received a credit for the price.
I'm more interested in finding out why so many avocados arrive in Switzerland in poor condition. It's quite a waste of resources. They require a lot of energy and water to get to our stores, and then I (and probably others too) have to throw them away.

We recommend storing the fruit separately and not near other fruit. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and in a relatively cool place.
