According to the law, retailers are required to indicate the country of production on the packaging, i.e., the country where the eggs were laid. In addition, imported eggs must be stamped on the shell upon import, including the country code (e.g., DE for Germany, NL for the Netherlands, or FR for France). The online product description states, "You can find the country of origin on the packaging in the store." The reason why no further information is provided is probably because the eggs are not always imported from the same country.
