Dear Migros I can certainly understand that there are products that are taken out of the range for countless reasons. (Indian daal, Mexican pizza, mint-lime powdered ice tea, Selina cat food, etc.) What I don't understand is why customers are not informed of this at an early stage. A simple notice like "will soon no longer be available" would be enough. Especially with cat food, it is of immense importance that you know early enough when a product disappears. This gives you the opportunity to stock up and slowly get your cat used to a new food. If you do this from one day to the next (which you are unfortunately forcing your customers to do with your strategy), it will cause major health problems for the cat's sensitive stomach. That can't be your aim, can it? So why can't you do it? Kind regards

Hi Tschuppita We understand what you're saying; with cat food in particular, you naturally need a certain lead time to get your cat used to it. You raise a point where we can still improve. It's important to us to keep our customers better informed about the products we sell. In general, it should be noted that Migros will continue to add innovative or improved products to its range in future. You suspect? What kind of flimsy justification is that? Delivery interruptions are also marked directly next to the respective items on the shelf... So all you need is another sign: "Will be taken out of the range"! Quite simply, anyone looking for the item in a store will read this, even if you don't think we can!!! The effort involved is minimal, but that of trying to sell a cat new food is not! Comprehensive, expensive communication, as you write, would therefore not even be necessary. Instead of excuses and excuses, I actually expect a constructive approach to criticism. Or is that too much to ask? MfG
