Why are the cartons of yogurt on sale taped together? This is very tedious for waste separation.

The cartons are attached to this yogurt with an adhesive dot because it comes off too easily during the various processes (filling, storage, distribution). We also want to prevent the carton from falling into the cup below and causing a foreign body incident. Kind regards, Yann

Hello Alugerana, the two types of cups are produced on two different lines and using two different technologies by the manufacturer of the packaging material. In the Duo cups, the lower edge of the cardboard segment is crimped. In the case of the six-pack cups, the cardboard segment is attached by means of an adhesive dot. As already mentioned, these measures prevent the segment from coming loose during the various processes (filling, storage, distribution). Kind regards, Alex
