Dear Migros, why don't you take Voss water out of your product range? Why don't you set an example? Nobody needs this water! Migros, take your responsibility seriously and don't blame everything on the consumers!

Hi @Yoliboli Thank you for your message. We regret that you do not agree with the Voss water in our range and will pass on your objections to those responsible. In connection with mineral water, I would like to make a few comments at this point. More than half of our mineral water comes from local sources, so that the customer has the choice of what to buy. There is no water shortage in Switzerland or Norway and the groundwater reserves are always sufficiently replenished thanks to rainfall. We would also like to mention the sustainability of Voss here: https://vosswater.com/environmental-responsibility/ The Voss glass bottle can be recycled at the appropriate collection points in the same way as PET in terms of sustainability. Basically, we want to offer our customers a change, which is greatly appreciated. Ultimately, we don't want to patronize them; every customer has the freedom to choose which products they want to buy. When importing water, transport has only a minor impact on the environmental balance, especially as Migros relies on rail transport wherever possible. Over 70% of all beverage deliveries are made by rail. This figure is actually increasing. We also strive to close cycles by using as much recycled PET as possible. I wish you a good day and hope for your understanding. Best regards Sebastian

Hello Sebastian, that's exactly the kind of blablabla answer I was expecting. Simply disappointing!

Nobody needs this tap water. Whether in a pet or glass bottle. Especially not at this price. Get rid of the product.

Hello everyone, I'm speaking up here again because I've made a mess of things. We no longer have Voss water in our range. It has been discontinued due to falling demand - and this was already the case last September. Unfortunately, this information did not reach me and I only found out about it after I forwarded your input to the people responsible. I must therefore correct myself at this point. I hope for your understanding and wish you a good start to the new week. Sebastian

Quote from @Sebastian_Migros: ....Over half of our mineral water comes from domestic sources.... Quote end I just find it bendy that it doesn't say "over 95%" comes from domestic sources.... do we have too little mineral water in CH that only "over 50%" can come from domestic sources ? Can't be that sooooo much has to be imported....
